Whereas all the developing countries have already recognized the importance of cyber intelligence to tackle the increasing terrorism in their countries, but India’s many bordering states police administration due to lack of training or less knowledge in technical field, yet to manage with the terrorism threats in their areas.

Ban Ki-moon Secretary-General of the United Nations already said,  “The Internet is a prime example of how terrorists can behave in a truly transnational way; in response, States need to think and function in an equally transnational manner.”

However, the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes is a rapidly growing phenomenon, requiring a proactive and coordinated response from decision makers of the countries.

In this regard, Tripura Infoway has invited excellent decision makers from both India and Bangladesh who will jointly hold discussion meeton Friday at Sukanta Academy 3 PM.

Despite increasing international recognition of the threat posed by terrorists’ use of the Internet in recent years, there is currently no universal instrument specifically addressing this pervasive facet of terrorist activity. Moreover, there is limited specialized training available on the legal and practical aspects of the investigation and prosecution of terrorism cases involving the use of the Internet.

Seeing the seriousness of the issue of terrorism, as the Dhaka attacks, Assam attacks held in a sequence Tripura Infoway has decided to pick the issue for discussion and thus accordingly the guests were invited.
