AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Tripurainfoway.com, is all set to unfold the 3rd Tripura conclave on 26th August 3 PM, at Sukhanta Academy. In a press meet, Tripurainfoway.com Veteran Journalist-author Subir Bhowmik and Editor Saumen Sarker announced it at Agartala Press Club. The 3rd Tripura conclave has taken up a serious issue of importance for Border lined states. The topic this year will be Cross border terrorism in Bangladesh, Implication for India’s border States. This will be a dialogue involving top security and intelligence officials from India and Bangladesh with the avowed aim of promising greater security and intelligence cooperation between not only Delhi and Dhaka but between Bangladesh and the Indian border states, the organizer has planned, with advice and patronage of Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy.

The 3rd Tripura Conclave on Friday will focus on Cross-border terrorism in Bangladesh and its implications for Northeastern states. Nothing could be more timely. We have watched with alarm the rising curve of jihadi terrorism in Bangladesh and it is time we figure out what it means for us in Tripura and the rest of Northeast.

Seeing the increasing Narcotic racket and Tripura-Bangladesh & Tripura-Mizoram border areas, Tripurainfoway has decided to hold this conclave on Aug 26, Sukanta Academy, 3 PM. The terrorist threat has given the main focus.

Due to lack of proper police intelligence network, Tripura again facing hard times due to terrorists attacks by extremists and narcotic business has increased the tension.

Although Central Govt. fully banned the manufacturing and sale of more than 300 combination medicines the cough syrup Phensedyl, among a host of drugs, but Tripura remained unaffected with that decision. Instead of decreasing, narcotic business is at rise day by day.

The decision of banning phensedyl, was taken after Modi govt. aimed at curbing the misuse of such medicines in India. But when it comes to narcotics, no amount of laws seems to be enough control the distribution of banned substances. Tripura is facing the same problem as after 5 months of banning Phensedyls they are available in the market.

However, with all these, the concalve will be focused on Cyber crime and its popularity in increasing terrorism.
