AGARTALA, Aug 24 (TIWN): The failure of Tripura Police during Tuesday day time and plan-wise disruption created by IPFT on a working day, generated much terror among the common people of Agartala City. Riot which was created by IPFT on Tuesday by attacking non-tribal women children, resulted in huge resentment among the Civilized town people at Agartala.

In a minute the smooth running Tripura’s capital City became a primitive land, as all are killing each other.

When protesting against the unruly activity of IPFT, the Bengali people  were attacked across Agartala City.

However, Tripura police was also miserably failed to take control over the situation.

Almost like statues the hapless police was standing. Asking about the section 144, a police official said, ‘We are just ordered to maintain peace during section 144 standing, and IPFT anyhow were successfully managing to burnt vehicles, and to continue their bloody games.

Although section 144 had been deployed, but IPFT continued their mass rally at Astabol Stadium even after the evening with the slogan of Twipra Land and shouts of blood-shed victory.

Before Astabol Stadium police, armies were stood, till IPFT didn’t finish their conference. Just around 3 PM TIWN journalist asked SP West Abhijit Saptarshi about the status of the town. He said that everything is now under control. Just after 5 minutes, IPFT started to burn all the vehicles before TIWN Office (Near Purbasa, Najrul Kalakhestra), started to kick the door of TIWN office, asking who is inside !

Also IPFT broke down TIWN Photographer’s vehicle. In the name of rally all the tribals from jungle came out on Tuesday and group-wise were burning vehicles and other things. Not a surprise, but nobody was arrested.

The way police behaved, and District Administrations silence over IPFT’s rally even after the evening it shows that days are not so far when Tripura may see the similar terror attack as Assam saw for Bodo Land demand.

Presently the situation is Agartala is just out of control, as police has failed to control the situation yet. Neither there was any meeting held at Home-Ministerial level, nor Media could expect any press conference from Tripura Home Minister who is also Manik Sarkar.
