KAMALPUR, Aug 21 (TIWN): The issue of SI-woman constable illegal affair took an interesting turn here at Ambassa. BJP got in trying to gain political benefit from the issue on the ground of immoral activities.

And in this context, the women wing of the party, the Mahila Morcha placed deputation with district police authority last evening. In the deputation, the leaders demanded stringent action within 24 hours so that police might revive some sort of dignity.

Friday night remained to be a black-Friday in the history of Ambassa police. On that night around 1 am, one SI Subimal Debnath entered into the residence of a woman constable Bibhiska Debbarma. Local people noticed the matter.

They could not tolerate this obscene presentation of romance by two responsible public servants. Hence they reported to Ambassa police. But, as the OC Debaprasad Roy was in leave, hence the matter got reported to SP.

Additional SP Kishore Debbarma reached the spot and ordered Subimal to come out of the residence. Now, two aged persons who both remained unmarried obviously might have a love relationship. They might enjoy physical relationship too.

But all these must not cross the limit of social parameters. And when it happened in the case of cops, it must not be tolerated. It might be also mentioned here that, social custom remained to be a source of law.

And violating the custom also resembled the violation of law. From this point, BJP Mahila Morcha placed deputation with the Additional SP last evening.

BJP State Mahila Morcha member Dipa Deb, District Mahila Morcha President Apu Deb, District BJP Vice-President Manorama Chakraborty led the deputation last evening.

They demanded that, the authority must adopt some measures to set instance so that, none could gather courage in near future to do the same act again. Now, what steps the top cops would adopt, remained the matter to be seen.
