KAMALPUR, Aug 17 (TIWN): The plight of NEC road connecting Kamalpur with Khowai has turned very much grave. And the condition of the road may cause major accident at any time.

The entire stretch of 38 kilometres of road is filled with ditches and pot holes.

The road turns dangerous during rainy season filled with rain water. Moreover, the road is almost covered with road-side jungles making the narrow strip narrower.

In this condition the vehicles madly rush on the road. It may cause accident at any time.

But the authority remains reluctant.
