KAMALPUR, Aug 10 (TIWN): The condition of the governmental offices and its infrastructure remained at stake for years in the present ‘golden regime’.
The unrestrained grip of bribery and party-raj had already destroyed the work culture. Moreover, the lack of proper staffs and infrastructure added to the sufferings. Every time, the people found blaming the employees about their habit of pocketing bribery in every possible case.
Again their legacy to the ruling party also remained unquestioned. But a big factor about the government employees remained out of the sight.
Many offices at district and sub-division levels suffered due to the lack of the staffs. Moreover, many such offices remained functioning which got bestowed with huge workload but two to three employees.
Again, the lack of proper infrastructure also remained a matter of concern. One such glaring instance remained there in the Nagar Panchayat area at Kamalpur. The office of the YAS department remained the plight of reluctance from government.
The office desperately faced the lack of officers and staffs. Every single paper had to be signed from the Deputy Director at Ambassa covering a distance of 68 kilometers in total as the office had no officers.
The office had a half-constructed water tank at its premise which remained in the same condition for last one decade. The employees had to fetch water from their houses. And if anybody fell ill, the office could not provide a single drop of water.
Still, the golden administration continued its claims of being the exemplary in the whole country.
