AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee addressing the mass rally in the Vivekananda Stadium challenging the ruling party of Tripura said, “I am waiting to join 2018’s Trinamool’s Victory rally in this same field where I am addressing now”. With her arrival almost all the anti-CPI-M supporters seem to have geared up with expectations of change. In her speech TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee is likely to ring the 'death bell of CPI-M from Tripura' in 2018 assembly polls. Just a decade ago Mamata Banerjee sounded the 'Mrityu ghanta of CPI-M from West Bengal' in a massive gathering in the Brigade Ground of Calcutta. Her relentless efforts showed its result in 2011 when the Left Parties were moved out of power by the electorates. Now on the historic day of 9th August TMC Supremo sounded the bugle of Assembly Poll of 2018 which the political analysts predict to be tough time for Manik Sarkar led CPI-M . Amidst bad weather people gathered at Vivekananda Stadium to have a sight of WB Chief Minister Mamata Banrjee at Agartala. From every subdivisions apart from TMC members, the common people also thronged to see Didi.Meanwhile with the arrival of Mamata Banerjee in Tripura the biggest loser seems to be the state BJP. Because of the lack of vision and intelligence BJP leaders in Tripura have failed to capitulate on the space created for anti-Left group since the Congress-CPI-M pre-poll alliance in West Bengal and thereafter.

The new generation that got a boost after Narendra Modi led BJP formed the Gov't at the centre with absolute majority now seems to be a bit demoralized simply because of the attitude of state BJP .

There is no denying of the fact that over the last one year state BJP has failed to make its impact on the pro-people issues though people of Tripura showed their faith in BJP as the decisive alternative in the three assembly by-polls in Khayerpur, Amarpur and Surma constituencies where BJP emerged as the second party. But even after this BJP are yet to cultivate properly on a soil that seems to be favourable for them.

Moreover, the luxurious life style of state BJP President Biplab Deb too is under serious scanner of the people.  The Bollywood hero like stylish BJP President is a failure to create a group of hard working core group within the party that can throw a challenge before the CPI-M.

In this situation the newly rejuvenated Trinamool Congress , especially after the joining of 6 Congress MLA's led by Sudip Roy Barman and the merger of the vast majority anti-CPI-M supporters in the last two months was seen to hit the streets with pro-people issues like petrol crisis, inflation , increasing rapes etc. The aggressive attitude of team Sudip too has been successful in encouraging the youths to regroup once again .

In this situation TMC's rally today will produce probably the biggest political show in Tripura in recent years. After the massive victory in West Bengal in this year's election Mamata Banerjee too has made up her mind to give a shock treatment to the CPI-M. And for her Tripura is the best place where CPI-M is ruling since 1993.

Over the years LF Gov't in Tripura led the so-called Honest CM Manik Sarkar has been in the headlines for the following issues :-

1) Massive fund embezzlement and corruptions in different Centrally sponsored schemes such as MGNREGA, NRHM, RMSA, SSA, PMGSY ect

2) Intentional deprivation imposed upon the state gov't employees , who are now having the poorest salary structure

3) Increasing rate of women violence like rapes, murders, physical tortures

4) Dilapidated health service condition

5) Acute unemployment

6) Poor quality education system

7) Unprecedented corruptions in recruitment by School Education Department with 10323 teachers' jobs terminated by Tripura High Court ,TPSC and almost all departments .

On all those issues Mamata Banerjee gave stress while addressing the mass rally in Agartala. And with thousands of hardcore workers joining the party,  TMC is certain to throw tough challenge before Manik & Co.
