AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): Huge police force is deployed at the premises of Swami Vivekananda Stadium to avoid any untoward incident on Tuesday where TMC Supremo Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to address a mass rally. However, along with police force, riot control vehicle is also placed to control the situation at the premises of the vivekananda stadium. Although there is no major threat as DGP K. Nagraj said that Tripura police has denied the permission to TPF, Tribal based organisation to stage any rally at Vivekanda stadium on August 9 as TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee will address a rally on the same day. It is to be mentioned here that Tripura People front led by Patal Kanya appealed to Tripura police to arrange security arrangement at swami Vivekananda stadium on August 9 to observe world indigenous day where WB CM Mamata Banerjee is also scheduled to attend rally on the same day, but Tripura police has rejected the appeal of patal Kanya. It is to be mentioned here that huge mass have gathered from different corners of the state at the stadium to hear Mamata;s Banerjee speech.
This is her first visit to Tripura after taking charge as Chief Minister for the second time following a landmark victory in West Bengal fighting against the Congress and Left Front alliance.
Mamata has always keen to see that Tripura people should be freed from the undemocratic government which snatches the rights from the people of the state and doing rampant corruption as well as depriving all section of people.
She has to send the message to the people of Tripura to oust the CPIM politically from the state and make a good government like West Bengal and for the welfare of the people of Tripura.
