AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): School Students of Don Bosco have organized a programme to ahead of Tripura Golden Girl Dipa Karmar’s participation at Rio Olympic on August 7.
Rio is inaugurating on Friday, whereas Dipa will perform on August 7.
Tripura girl Dipa Karmakar has become the first Indian woman to qualify for Olympic.
On April 23rd, Dipa Karmakar qualified for participating in Olympic Games.
Dipa Karmakar has become the symbol for Olympic aspirants and the sports star of Tripura.
A Tripura girl created history in gymnastic world in her young age in 2016.Apart from being the first Indian woman, she will also be an Indian gymnast qualifying for the quadrennial extravaganza after 52 long years.
