AGARTALA, Aug 5 (TIWN): With reports of deprivation of Anganwadi worker from their wages over past many months at Indranagar Acharjee para Anganwadi centre and Indranagar hotat colony Anganwadi centre the TMC women’s unit on Friday placed deputation to Director Social Welfare and social Education D. Darlong demanding immediate action into the case.

Reportedly, helper of Indranagar  Acharjee para Anganwadi centre Kajal rani Majumder who was appointed as the helper for the Anganwadi centre since 2014, suddenly another lady came to teh centre and claimed that she has been given the post of helper and kajal rani is terminated without prior notice. However, demanding cancel the termination of Kajal Rani TMC women placed deputation to Director Social Welfare and social Education D. Darlong. They further demanded to regularise the wage of another helper who is working Indranagar Hotat Colony Anganwadi centre.

However, accepting the deputation of TMC women unit to Director Social Welfare and social Education D. Darlong  took time for 15 days and said will look into the matter as early as possible.
