AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Tripura Pragatishil Gramin Congress (TPGC) calls 12-hour strike on May 12
demanding suspension of Chief Electoral Commissioner- Ashutosh Jindal and re-election of two
parliamentary constituencies in the state for making the by-gone Lok-Sabha poll manipulated.
TPGC convener Subal Bhowmik in a press conference today informed that during the strike every emergency services including Ambulance, Fire service, and Power would remain out of strike. He
also demanded to provide the job immediately to the job losers. “The state government is going to chit again with the unemployed and 10325 job losers saying that they will move to Apex Court”, said Subal Bhowmik.
Referring to the collapse of stage on the day of inauguration of newly built Rabindra Sata Barshiki Bhavan, Bhowmik said CBI inquiry must be done for all the poor quality of construction works in the state. TPGC convener also demanded to replace the Marx-cum-Tagore’s statue immediately from the Rsbindra Sata Varshiki Bhavan and to examine the quality of newly constructed Rsbindra Sata

attended the press conference at the office of Tripura Pragatishil Gramin Congress. TPGC wants CBI investigation into the construction of all the high rise buildings built during the Marxist regine in the state to find out the truth. “The CPI-M wants their party headquarters to remain standing while they have no concern for others”, he added.
