Reckless driving, dilapidated roads of Tripura leads to massive accident: one died on Wednesday early morning

AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Reckless driving on Wednesday morning claimed a life of one at Khowai Pohormura Baidyanath Chowmuhani. The incident took place at around 8.30 in the morning.

The deceased is identified as Adhir Chandra debnath(75), basically resident of Khowai. Although he was rushed to hospital but he was declared death by the doctors. Day after day incidents of accidents are triggering panic among the commuters of the state.

On the other hand, accidents and reckless driving are claiming several lives. Traffic Department of the state where claims about strict vigilance of the traffic personnel in the every parts of the state, on the other hand, resentment brews among the public over lacklustre attitude of the traffic personnel.

Accidents due to overloaded goods in the vehicles are also on headline. Despite of strict order from the authority the vehicle drivers carry overloaded goods.

Now the question arises if the traffic personnel are deployed in the most of the parts of the state than how come the vehicle drivers gets the opportunity to carry over loaded vehicles.

Besides, allegation has been raised that roads and footpaths across the state are in a deplorable condition for prolonged days.

According to some locals, the traffic rules must be strengthened and more officials must be deployed in the major parts of the roads. As there are drivers who break the traffic rules while they cross the traffic zone of the capital as there is no strict vigilance in the roads of the interior.

It is to be mentioned here that most of the cases of accidents are reportedly due to reckless driving and also due to overloaded goods in the vehicles. Besides, drunk and driving cases are also occurring rampant in the state.

On the other hand, poor condition of the road in the state also leads to several accidents. However, the question is if the traffic personnel are keeping regular check over the vehicles than why these kinds of incidents are occurring frequently in the state.
