AGARTALA, Aug 2 (TIWN): Tripura has been geared up to celebrate the 69th Independence Day on 15th August.
Shop keepers are busy to stitch flags and making dresses for children who will perform on that occasion.
The celebration of Independence Day is marked with huge enthusiasm in Tripura.
This day is dedicated for the independent movement of India and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in this freedom fight.
Although Tripura latterly joined with India after 2 years of Independence on 1949, still Tripura equally shares the joys of the occasion.
The main programme in Agartala held at Assam Rifles Ground along with various other spots. In every subdivision, every villages and paras, schools, Colleges, offices this day will be celebrated.
Only 13 days left for the occasion, so people are now busy to organize programmes and the weaver are busy with tri-coloured dress and flags.
