AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Atleast 3 persons was injured at National Highway on Monday at Mungiakami 34 Mile area.

The incident occurred when 2 vehicles heat each other during high speed driving and thus left 3 injured seriously.

A Jeep bearing number TR01-4346 was on the way to Mungiakami and a Lori was coming from the opposite side.

Due to reckless driving the incident occurred.

The injured persons have been identified as : Pradip Debbarma (30), Rathindra Debbarma (24), Unnati Reang (28).

Fire brigade rushed to the spot and recovered the injured persons and admitted them to Teliamura hospital.

The driver is absconding. However, no life-loss have been yet reported.

On the other side, a child was seriously injured on Monday when a bike bearing number TR02B-1599 had hit her on the way to Teliamura town. The 4 years girl then admitted to GB hospital in serious condition.

The driver, Sujit Debbarma has been arrested.
