AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Interrogation with rapist Panna Ahmed is not yet successful as Panna is yet to reveal the names of the person involved behind backing him when he was escaping from the punishment of the law.

However Panna was again sent to 14 days of jail custody after he was produced before the court on Friday. After hearing the points from the defence and Public prosecutor rapist panna was again sent to 14 days of jail custody.

Panna will be again produced before the court on August 11.

However, talking about Panna’s hidden shed in the house of one identified as Shefali Day at Karimganj West SP said that so far no details is available about her but she will also be interrogated along with Panna if she  was aware about Panna’s crime since beginning.

West SP further said that police is now working on filing Charge sheet against Panna Ahmed case and police is also trying to submit the charge sheet in the court as early as possible.  When asked about which article to be slammed against Panna, West SP said that nothing can be said now before completing the preliminary interrogation.  It can be said only after completing at least basic interrogation.

It is to be mentioned here that rapist Panna Ahmed was arrested from Shivbari road under Karimganj District with the joint collaboration of Tripura police personnel Manoj Chanda and Karimganj Police.

However, Panna was arrested on the basis of secret information from shivbari road and now he is under the jurisdiction of Karimganj police.Even after the incident came into limelight, the main accused Panna Ahmed was roaming free and police finally arrested him from karimganj almost after 3 weeks.

Reportedly, the raped-woman is mother of 2 children, and came to meet Panna Ahmed at his home in search of rent at Agartala Ramnagar. Taking advantage of situation, Panna Ahmed tortured her, beaten her and then raped her for hours.
