KAMALPUR, Aug 1 (TIWN): The clashes of CPI-M with TMC and BJP became evident in different parts of the state. And the sub-division of Kamalpur also not left away from this trend. In last six months, the parties got into bloody clashes on different occasions. And it became evident that, the situation would turn graver during the post-9th August period.

It became almost clear that, after the Mamata’s mass rally on 9th August, the CPI-M party receive a major jolt in its vote bank especially in the religious minority. Many of them continued their constant communication with the TMC leaders and simply waiting for 9th August.

They would join TMC after the mass meet of Mamata Banarjee. Now, the facts remained suppressed by the TMC. But it would create much havoc in the ruling party and therefore the CPI-M would adopt more suppressive measures to keep their reign intact.

At the same time, BJP also continued their silent but steady growth in the sub-division. Though the local CPI-M leaders often declined the joining of party supporters and workers to other parties claiming it a conspiracy of ‘media and opposition’ but they knew the reality very well. And the bloody battles would be more frequent occurrences here in coming days.

In this context, the role of police and administration would become important and vital. In the past, the police and the administration found to be shameless spectators of the party atrocities. In coming days, such move might be fatal and would ignite the fire of long-term chaos and dilemma.
