Security tightened at the premises of Agartala railway station

AGARTALA, July 31 (TIWN): With the aim to ensure error free inauguration of the Tripura Sundari Express train from Agartala railways station, security is tightened across the premises of the Agartala railway station.

Keeping in view the historic inauguration of the first Agartala-Delhi Tripura Sundari express train on Sunday administration has taken elaborate steps to avoid any untoward incident at the premises of the Agartala railway station.            

civil and  the police administration jointly in collaboration with the Northeast Frontier railway has taken elaborate security arrangements to mark the safe conduct of the Agartala-Delhi Express train inauguration on Sunday.

security is the top most priority as 60 VVIP’s will be arriving in tomorrow’s inauguration program and more than that it is expected that at least 20,000 spectators will be arriving from different parts of the state to be a part of this historic inauguration.

Security checking for the common people is must as it is a matter international relation as delegates from Bangladesh will also be arrivingon Sunday to mark the historic inauguration of Express train service in Tripura after almost 70 years of independence.

Tripura is all set to create a history as the BG express train is all set to begin its journey for Agartala-Delhi on Sunday. Putting an end to the long wait of the people, the people of Tripura will see the entry of the BG Express train at Agartala Railway station for the first time on Sunday.

After inauguration, every Monday the train will leave from Delhi at 11.55 PM and will reach Agartala on Wednesday 11.45 PM in the night. The entire duration will be covered in 47 hours.

However thousands of people have gathered at the premises of the Agartala railway station to be part of the historic moment on Sunday.
