AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): Panic gripped high on Saturday morning when massive fire broke out in a car at Chandrapur –Resham Bagan road under East police station.
The car bearing number TR-018-0461 burnt into ashes when the fire sparked off inside the car and spreaded huge panic in the area. However, no injury was reported so far.
Reckless driving on Saturday early morning spreaded huge panic in the area after fire sparked off in a running car.
The incident took place on Saturday morning when the driver was driving the car in a huge speed and losing control over the brakes the car started malfunctioning and caught fire.
However, police is also suspecting that driver was intoxicated and lost control over the brakes.
Road accidents-leading to death and injuries has become a regular stuff. Getting alarm the East agartala police personnel reached the spot and took a note of the situation.
The sourced also said that a fire service crew also rushed to the spot and brought the fire inder control. Getting alarm the localites reached to the spot
It is to be mentioned here; Tripura Traffic Police and Tripura Police Department have been facing a very tough time to prevent the number of road accidents in the state which are allegedly claiming life of several people for last few months. The numbers of road mishaps are alarmingly increased in the state for last few months but the traffic police department is surprisingly playing silent role instead of taking proper initiative over the road accident issue.
However, Police is further investigating the case.
