TELIAMURA, July 29 (TIWN): Tension grips Indo-Bangla border areas at Teliamura after 2 Bangladeshis held by Tripura Police.
After arresting them, a case was lodged against them for illegal intrusion in India and also theft charges have been brought against them.
The 2 persons have been identified as Kabir Mia (45) and Rani Begam (36).
Since last few days the threat of thieves was increased in Teliamura. As a part of the investigation, the Sub-Inspector of Teliamura P S, Mungesh Patoari visited Chakmaghat Twimadhu area.
During that time those 2 suspected Bangladeshis were identified by the mentioned inspector and during inquiry the 2 persons couldn’t show their valid documents.
However, they are actual resident of Sanjaik area, under Comilla Dist. They were living in Tripura (Chakmaghat area) since last 4 years.
On Friday they were produced before the court.
