AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Fuel crisis disrupting Tripura political campaigns.
In a press meet held at Trinamool Bhawan on Thursday, TMC President Ratan Chakraborty during a press meet expressed concerned about the ongoing fuel crisis which may halt the political campaigning before the arrival of Mamata Banarjee on 9th August.
“This is a fully plan-wise crisis created in Tripura ruling party by the Communist Govt. to halt TMC’s political campaign as Mamata Banarjee is arriving in August 9. After 9th August no crisis will be there”, he added.
Keeping eyes on West Bengal Chief Minister’s arrival in state Trinamool Congress is going to organize many political rallies from August 1st to August 8.
Moreover, on May 5 there will be a huge gathering along with mass rally of Tripura Trinamool at Agartala. On that day people from most of the corners of the state are scheduled to arrive in Agartala to support TMC.
However, TMC President has expressed concern about the ongoing fuel crisis and said, “As people from far distance will come to Agartala on 5th August and 9th August, so party needs many vehicles with full of fuels”.
Chakraborty has also expressed concern about CPI-M’s intrigue to spoil the temperament of the party members in coming days.
As petrol pumps are running dry, the political gathering of Trinamool party on coming days may become a matter of criticism for public.
Due to the black marketing and NH-44’s condition there is no relief for the customers at Petrol pumps. Either rain, or heated atmosphere people are found in long rows for 1 liter petrol.
In this situation petrol crisis has hit the political campaigning in state.
