DGP told media that the Tripura Govt. has asked the BSF to maintain strict vigilance at Border areas. Nagraj also said that there is no report of such incidents that Jihadi JMB, HUJI can attack upon Tripura. But the MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) requested all the states to remain in maximum alert to tackle any threat of jihadi actions. On July 17, PM Narendra Modi addressing the session of the day-long meeting of the ISC, being held after ten years, he asked the states to focus on intelligence sharing.
Modi also urged them to keep politics aside and keep national security paramount. But unfortunately, being ruled by communist party, Tripura is undergoing major terrorism threats as state’s CM cum Home Minister yet to adopt ‘International policy to stop Terrorism.
Unfortunately, Tripura Police is relying 100% for all the state intelligence duties upon BSF, but BGB Regional Director Brigadier General Mohammad Habibul Karim on Sunday said that terror activities could not be curbed by a single security force or a single country, this has to be dealt with joint efforts of forces.
Tripura’s Communist Chief Minister is however, never took Islamic terrorism as a serious issue. Politics is everything for CM, rather than the state’s security.
The Strategy is a unique instrument to enhance the efforts of the international community to counter terrorism along four pillars:
1. Addressing conditions conducive to the spread of terrorism,
2. Preventing and combatting terrorism;
3. Building Member States’ capacity to prevent and combat terrorism and to strengthen the role of the United Nations system in this regard,
4. Ensuring the respect for human rights for all and the rule of law as the fundamental basis for countering terrorism.
But in Tripura criminals as rapists get vanish from the state, but state’s police can’t nab them. How can they save the entire state from international terrorist attacks.
Tripura is suffering from ISIS / ISI terrors, but the administration is unwilling to take this matter seriously resulting in increasing terrors in the state.
North Tripura and Sonamura (Bishalghar) and few other parts there are many Bangladeshi Jihadis who have high links with international-terrorist groups like ISIS, JMB, HUJI.
Their numbers are increasing day by day, as Northeastern state Tripura has become their safe ground, just as Bangladesh has become their safe land for Tripura criminals.
