KAMALPUR, July 23 (TIWN): Once another incident of party-hooliganism got staged here at Halhali during the chakka-jam program of TMC around 10-45 am.

TMC scheduled the pre-announced chakka jam program in front of the Annapurna Filling Station. Then suddenly the CPI-M goons led by Bijan Sinha and Mrinal Sinha attacked the procession of TMC.

During the attack hundreds of police and TSR led by party-loyal SDPO Chandan Saha and DCM Rameswar Chakraborty remained mere spectator.

In the brick-raining of CPI-M cadres almost 20 TMC supporters got seriously injured. Among them Ajoy Choudhury and Ratan Chanda were shifted to GBP Hospital.

TMC condemned the attack and filed case demanding the arrest of Mrinal and Bijan.
