AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): Political drama of Trinamool Congress by staging one hour Chakka jam on Saturday against the dilapidated condition of the NH8(44), has disrupted the traffic movement in the state during the office hours.

Traffic almost crawled at many places and ay many places it was totally put on halt there by creating problems for the common people during the office hour.

It is to be mentioned here that what did TMC gain by observing Chakka jam? Will it bring any improvement to the prolonged crisis of petrol in the state?

The prolonged crisis of petrol is due to the poor condition of NH8(44) , rather than  aiming towards the development of the highway TMC has given a call to observe one hour chakka jam in the city roads during the office which has lead to massive traffic jam in the state.

Petrol crisis in Tripura has taken a bad shape and there is no respite from the petrol crisis. People have been seen waiting in long que crossing 1km of distance with the two wheelers for refilling.

Tripura is experiencing a major fuel crisis as the regular movement of vehicles has been badly hampered due to the dilapidated condition of the National Highway 8 (44) in Lower Poha in Assam but instead of taking any major step political party are busy in doing drama by observing Chakka Jam.

Vehicles were seen moving in disorganized manner amidst of messy traffic.  The route from Battala-Bordowali has simply turned smoky with the continuous release of smoke from the vehicles which were witnessed gripped in the middle of traffic jam.

The chaos of traffic congestion has has taken bad shape on saturday.  Many of the auto drivers simply denied for carrying passengers as it takes at least 30 to 45 minutes to cross the road from Bordowali to Battala due to the massive traffic jam.

And that who has carried passengers from Kamper bazaar, Amatali, Badharghat and siddhi Asharm has adopted a separate route to drop the passengers at Battala via Chowdhury mill side lane.

Many were witnessed standing for more than hours on the road side for auto.  Thousands of vehicles remained stranded on the roads till 12 pm while the entire Battala town was virtually choked resulting into a chaos like situation there since Saturday  morning.
