KAMALPUR, July 19 (TIWN): The party-raj and the habit of undue enjoyment of facilities of the cadres in the long un-restrained leftist rule of Tripura not left any sect of society undisturbed.
And as the cadres failed to illegally occupy the lands of an opposition supporter farmer; hence they ransacked the chilly field of the farmer costing a loss of more than 1, 00, 000 of rupees. Though the incident might seem nothing significant, but such incident showed the true essence of so-called democracy in our state.
The incident took place this morning around 5-30 am at East Kuchainala under Kamalpur. There green chilly field of one farmer Sudhir Das got ransacked by his neighbouring party cadres Sudarshan Malakar, Bimal Malakar and Subal Malakar.
When Sudhir got out of his house to have a look at his field like every day, he found the trio uprooting the plants filled with chillies from his field. He chased them and they fled away. But till then, already half of his one kani of field was ransacked.
It got revealed that, the Malakar family was long claiming the field as theirs. But Sudhir got the possession from court and continued his farming works. They often irritated Sudhir and he never got justice knocking the local leaders.
But today, they reached the extreme and Sudhir lodged a case against them with the police.
