Agartala, May 04 (TIWN): After three years of appointment of teachers and non-teaching staffs, a CPI (M) divisional committee leader raised question on the selection process of total 28 posts in Ramesh Higher Secondary School.
According to the leader, the candidates appointed in the interview held in 2010 were not selected on merit basis. In this interview, thirteen Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), six Graduate Teachers two Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC), one Group-D employee, two laboratory attendants, one sweeper and cleaner were selected.
Allegations were raised against the entire selection process in the school after prolonged three years. “Why didn’t he raise the question?” said one staff of the school, unwilling to reveal his name.
School sources said that the CPI (M) leader wanted few candidates of his choice to be appointed in the school illegally, but the managing committee of the school opposed his proposal.
It was heard that the leader became furious as few candidates, also Congress supporters were selected for the posts in the school.
In the meantime, the leader failed to provide jobs to his choiceable candidates the next time as another managing committee consisting new members was formed in the school.
