DHARMANAGAR, July 18 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has inaugurated the much controversial Kalachara block under Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

Kalachara block with the estimate cost of atleast Rs. 2 crores has been inaugurated Monday.

Reportedly, the block construction work of Kalachara was started in the year 2013, after laying the foundation stone by Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath on 2.9.2013. The work was to be completed within 2 years.

But as the work couldn’t finish by the contractor within the dead line. However, on Monday after  3 years now finally the block has been inaugurated with the hands of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.

Along with CM Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath, North DM Sandeep Mahatme and others were also present.
