AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): The admission for under graduate courses has been started in NIT, said Agartala NIT Director Gopal Mugeraya.

Reportedly, JOSAA-2016 has been setup by MHRD to manage and regulate the joint Seat Allocation for admission  to 92 Centrally Funded Technical institutes in 6 rounds of counseling.

Admission to these Institutes/ Universities is based on AIR (All India Rank) secured by the candidates through JEE (Main)-2016 Examination.

The candidates who satisfies one or more of the criteria is eligible for participation in joint Seat Allocation along with the criteria of subject combinations including SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC-NCL reservations.
