AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): With pressure from the opposition parties in the state, finding no other way, big heads of CPI-M enacted this plan of arresting Panna from Karimganj.

It is to be mentioned here that sensing trouble and seeing no other option from CPI-M big heads finally made arrangements for making Panna available to police to save the good image of the party in the state.

Where the every political forum raising voice against in Tripura for arresting Panna it was seen that CPI-M was silent which clearly reflects that Panna was under the shelter of the CPI-M. Only to save minority vote banks in the state CPI-M was sheltering rape accused Panna from the hand of law.

However, finally finding no way for saving the good image of Panna Ahmed, he was made available to police on Tuesday and it appears to be a clear planned drama.

So far when Ganja cultivation is undergoing rampantly at Sonamura under the eye of the EX-SDM Panna Ahmed and now he has attributed his name in the list of rape accused too. Despite of so much of allegation raised against Panna Ahmed he was under shelter for 18 days.

 According to the sources, Panna Ahmed has been doing such corruption under the shelter of CPI-M in the state.

When the entire Sonamura Sub-division has turned out to be a den for Ganja Cultivation, Ex-SDM Panna Ahmed during his stay as SDM  earlier said to TIWN correspondent that no measures have been adopted now for curtailing Ganja cultivation in the sub-division where as the sub-division is reeling under rampant ganja cultivation.

His reluctant comment over no drive against Ganja cultivation has sparked off controversy. Question arises why he is reluctant to take action against the ganja Cultivation in the sub-division when the entire sub-division has turned out to be a den for Ganja Cultivation and a web for promoting all smuggling activities where former SDM Subhasis Das has destroyed crores of Ganja from Sonamura during his time in the chair.

According to the sources, smuggler backed party people removed honest SDM Subhashis Das from his post and they installed their man in SDM post in Sonamura to continue with the smuggling in Sonamura division.

TCS officer and former Sonamura SDM Panna Ahmed, who was known for providing umbrella support to Sonamura, Boxnagar regions massive tea-garden shaped Ganja cultivations, favouring Bangladesh based Islamic radical elements, also known as a most characterless TCS officer with active CPI-M backings.  But this corrupt TCS officer now trapped by his misdeeds of raping a hapless woman in Agartala.
