AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): AMC has aimed to receive more income tax with the Water Tax system launching from this financial year. As per the meter public have to pay the tax for water.

Reportedly, JNNURM and ADB projects every Water-links will be added this time.

Water-Department and Health dept. with joint discussion will decide the water tax for this year.

However, with this initiative the income tax will be increased.

It can be assumed that Rs. 85.84 lakhs has been income in last year and in 2016-2017 atleast Rs. 90 lakhs will be taken as a part of Income Tax.
