VIZIANAGARAM, May 1 (TIWN): Jitendra Chaudhury, Industries & Commerce Minister, Tripura has campaigned today in two Assembly segments of Araku Loksabha Constituency of AP. Despite of scorching heat and subsequent incessant rain hundreds of men and women joined in the rallies at Kurupam and Balaji Pet.

From 12.00am to 2.00 pm the colourfull road show with LS Candidate Dr. M.Babu Rao, Kurupam Assembly Candidate Kalaka Laxmana Murthy and Jitendra Chaudhury on the top of campaign vehicle started from the Visakhapatnam-Raipur Highway point and travelled through all the gallies of Kurupam Taluka HQ, then culminated at the centre point of the Town. While addressing the gathering Jitendra Chaudhury, it is unfortunate that Sri Kishore Ch. Deo, the Union Tribal Welfare Minister is hailing from this constituency, where thousands of Scheduled Tribe families denied from Forest Right, tribals are deserting their habitats during lean period in search of job & food and atrocities of Foresters & Police against forest dwellers is rampant. He further said the Congress, TDP-BJP combine and YSR Congress none are talking about the poor, STs, SCs and RMs.

They are silent on the problems of the peasantry, youth and women. Rather they are busy with diverting the people's attention in the name of regionalism, caste and creed. Sri Chaudhury further added Congress is counting for it's hours as outcome of their misdeeds, defying the promises to the people, huge curruptions and anti people policies, but BJP-TDP or YSR Congress also can not be the alternative to them. He narrated before the gathering how the LF Government in Tripura, though economically backward due to discriminatory attitude pursued by the successive Governments at the centre, has achieved significant success in all sphere of basic sectors like education, health care, communication, power, per capita income and protecting the fundamental rights of the underprevileged section of people. He claimed Tripura has been posing today as the true model for the development and enhancing the standard of living of the common people. So, this election has been thriving for that true alternative, which Left and othe Secular Parties only can offer. He urged to vote the Left candidates in both Loksabha and Assembly constituencies. Among the others Dr. M. Babu Rao(LS Candidate), Kalaka Laxmana Murthy(Kurupam Assembly Candidate) and M. Mammad Rao(Parvatipuram Assembly Candidate) etc. also spoken in the two gatherings.
Sri Chaudhury shall campaign in four other Assembly Constituencies on next three days in Srikakukulam and Visakhapatnam Districts.
