AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): On Sunday, the female staffs of IGM hospital were brutally beaten up by guards, and left as critically injured.
The poor female sweepers, when during the morning came to the hospital a clash occurred with the male guards regarding some issue. In return the guards beaten the female staffs and left them seriously inured.
All of the female staffs are admitted in IGM Hospital.
The clash, which occurred in the same complex is now considering as a internal matter, where public has nothing to do.
Talking to police of West Police Station, he said, ‘No Complain has come from any party, so there is no FIR too. But police is doing inquiry into the matter’. However, sources said that the authority of IGM Hospital has ordered to end the matter here only.
But question arises, if the same matter happened with a doctor of that hospital or similar such personalities, then would not they lodge FIRs? So it can be said that in the Golden Era of Manik Sarkar poor people has no place.
Reportedly, none of the staffs are regular here and thus they are afraid of losing their jobs. They are silent due to the pressure creating by hospital authorities.
It’s worthy to mention here that IGM Hospital has come under many allegations in last few years. Either it’s a children death or wrong treatment, IGM Hospital has been popular in this issues.
Other Govt. hospitals also are in pitiable shape, but the health dept. is least bothered about it.
Before few days, during doctor’s day celebration, Tripura’s renowned Doctor--- also the President of IMA (Indian Medical President), Dr. Pradip Bhowmik asked the health dept. that if there is any guarantee when a patient will go to GB Hospital s/he will get proper medical care? Is there any guarantee of bed?
“Not only the doctors, but the planners, who are sitting as the head of Health Dept. would be answerable to this question’, said Bhowmik in the presence of Tripura Health Minister Badal Choudhury.
But Mr. Bhowmik would know that as the Ministers never go to Govt Hospitals for treatments, so they are least bothered about it.
