KAMALPUR, July 6 (TIWN): The service of the Central government undertaking BSNL remained chaotic and irregular for almost a decade here.
All the services like internet, mobile and landline continued to be a mockery for the consumers. Every month more than week got passed without service. And the local office, could say nothing but to contact with Agartala.
Since one decade, the BSNL service turned a mere mockery for the users. Unclear voice, broken voices on the mobile, out of order land lines and sudden collapse of internet service remained very common features of the Corporation here at Kamalpur.
Further, the lack of technically sound officials and transfer of one after another engineer from the local office also made the situation worse.
Now, the situation probably reached its worst and the internet facility completely collapsed for at least a fortnight in last one and half months. But whenever, the local office got contacted with, they had the same old answer of advising to contact with Agartala.
The rest-prone officials turned so indifferent to the problems that they took even more than a day to decide the fate of Kamalpur. And the ruling party CPI-M which often used to come on the roads with different demands remained silent on the issue at higher level.
