BELONIA, July 6 (TIWN): Under the chairmanship of MP Jitendra Choudhury, a District Level Vigilance & Monitoring Committee meeting was held at Circuit House Belonia to monitor the progress of implementation of the National Health Mission (NHM) activities in rural and urban areas and other Development schemes like MGNREGA/IAY/MPLAD .
The meeting was chaired by Jitendra Chaudhury, MP of Lok Sabha, ,MLA Sudhan das, DM South CK Jamatia, besides senior administrative officials of South District, South District, South District, CMO Belonia. Besides officials from PWD, Power, Agriculture department was also present in the meeting.
The members of DLVMC will include all MP in the district, MLAs, Chairperson of District Panchayat, Mayor/Municipal chairperson, District Programme Manager of the NHM, Chairpersons of Block Panchayats in the District, District Medical Officer, District Social welfare officer, and District Planning Officer, among others.
The DLVMCs will monitor the progress of implementation of the NHM under the overall framework for implementation and also review the adherence to prudent fiscal norms, inter-sect oral convergence, community participation, and monitoring, the MP Jiten says.
He asserted all line departments to create permanent assets and update P-FMS process faster and sooner for early fund flow from central government and ask LDM to initiate Banking process for smooth fund flow in MGNREGA scheme and also instructed to organised many more awareness camp throughout the District in Village Level for simplification of Banking System to common people as far as various facilities of Social Schemes. He also instructed to DM to initiate all to complete Aadhar no update for beneficiaries as early as possible.
In the meeting, it was informed 180 projects were taken in hand for implementation at East Tripura parliamentary constituency. The projects include construction of market sheds, community hall, school building, and shed for patients, power transmission line, drinking water and roads. The MP told the concerned official to complete the work within the schedule time
