AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): With the falling standards of Tripura Pradesh Congress party in the state, the party has decided to hoist an essential meet on July 5 with the aim to rejuvenate the standards of the party.

The party meet will mainly discuss on the status of the party in the state and the steps will be taken for the rejuvenation of the congress party in the state in a new way.

The Congress has lost its grip as the opposition party from Tripura where BJP and TMC is making inroads even as the Left firmed its hold in Tripura winning majority of the seats in both of the recently concluded election municipal as well as village committee election.

Wherever the Congress has won, the margins have either been very narrow or drastically cut down as compared to previous elections.

While the Congress tally came down in the election, the BJP candidates emerged as giant killers defeating the main opposition party state and bagging the second position into their account.

Over past many years Congress has made themselves visible only during the time of election and vanishing after that. once the election is over they hoist a ' Press Conference were the party' putting some blames on the state govt and not rocking the streets, connecting with common people but sitting in air conditioned rooms of Post Office Chowmahani. Congress over the years has fallen paralysed into the hand of ruling party and is acting like the puppets of CM Manik Sarkar.

So many corruptions has hit the state in RMSA, MGNREGA and even in Agriculture. But why has the Congress being the opposition party of the state has not made any PIL in the High Court demanding CBI probe in these scams till now?  It is alleged that only because of the behind the curtain relationship between CPI-M and Congress, the party has remained silent over the years in the state.
