AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Congress President Birajit Sinha on Friday, placed deputation to Officer-in-charge at West Police Station to lodge an FIR and to recover a vehicle which has been taken by Dibakar Hrangkhawal during his time as President of Congress.
Reportedly, the vehicle breaing Registration No. TR-01-AN-0231 Engine No. 497SPTC43PWY661734, Chassis No.MAT44,6502D9P24307 belongs to Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee and the said vehicle has been purchased by Tripura Pradesh Congress and an application for registration of the said vehicle was filed to Reistering Authority, Govt. of Tripura in accordance with Section 41 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and the authority being satisfied, registered the vehicle in the name of TPPCC Congress Bhawan, Post Office Chowmuhani, Agartala.
For last few years, Dibakar Hrangkhawal was using this vehicle, said Birajit Sinha.
He was also the MLA, was possessing and using the vehicle, but now he has resigned from the primary membership of Indian National Congress Party and joined TMC Party, but even then he is possessing the vehicle and retaining the vehicle illegally, said Birajit Sinha via a complaint to the West Police Station.
In this regard Sinha added, “Dibakar Hrangkhawal was bound to return the vehicle to me but he is violating the Motor Vehicle Act-197”.
“In this regard he has committed criminal beach of trust as he was possessing the vehicle as President T.P.C. even after giving up Congress Party”.
So Sinha asked West PS Officer to treat this complaint as FIR and recover the vehicle and investigate into my complaint to punish the accused appropriately and oblige.
