Bangladeshis continuously doing brutality against the Hindus at Bangladesh, yet so called ruling govt silent to save their minority vote bank

AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Hindus in Bangladesh are becoming the target of the ferocious Bangladeshis who are continuously targeting the Hindu families and destroying them. Day after day killing of Hindus are taking bad shape but there is no protest against the brutality done against the Hindus. However, although earlier a Brahman society raised voice against the crime but the government is silent to take any action for saving the vote bank in Tripura.

Huge number of vote bank in Tripura comes from minority group and as a result there is no protest to raise voice against the brutality done on the Hindus in Bangladesh. On the one hand, Hindus are killed regularly in Bangladesh but there is no protest against their crime done on the Hindus.

It is to be mentioned here that thousands of Bangladeshis are thought to have crossed the border to India in the past two years. It is impossible to verify numbers because New Delhi will not release records, but Dhaka's statistics show the Muslim majority increasing dramatically and the Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and other minorities declining.

In western Bangladesh, where the Jamaat-e-Islami is particularly strong, many villages have been deserted by minorities.

The recent influx of Hindus from Bangladesh, who ran away only with their lives, has already created enough heated debate in Indian politics.  And while attending the SAARC summit in Kathmandu on 4 Jan 2002, the Indian Prime Minister asked his Bangladeshi counterpart to take necessary actions to stop this violence. This in fact meant:  stop migrations to India. But now the Narendra Modi-led government has shown concern for the Bangladeshi Hindus who are migrating to India seeking asylum.

Where the entire nation is heated up with the brutality done on Hindus by the Bangladeshis, Tripura government is silent to raise any voice as raising voice against the minority class in Tripura will affect the minority vote banks in the ensuing Tripura assembly election 2018.

It is to  be mentioned here that round 300 Bangladeshi nationals on Saturday tried to enter through Champahaor but they were stopped by the BSF. They returned last night following a flag meeting between BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh.

According to the source they were tribal’s and evicted by the forest guards of Bangladesh from Chunarughat area of Habiganj district of the neighbouring country. However, BSF and district administration of Khowai provided them food and drinking water during their stay along the border.
