SANTIRBAZAR, 26th June(TIWN) : 20 families of CPI-M supporters joined BJP in Birchandra ADC Village in Santirbazar Sub Division under South Tripura District.

 The BJP Leader Dipnkar Goswami said that Birchandra ADC Village, altogether 210 voters owing allegiance to the CPIM & Cong  deserter their party and joined the BJP formally by accepting the party flag.

Parikhit Murasing BJP Leader also said that the trend of joining BJP was continuing all over the state. 'Actually despite failure of the ruling CPI (M) the Congress could never play the role of constructive opposition; this is the reason why the frustrated voters have joined the BJP and our ranks will swell all over the state' said BJP Leaders of South Tripura .
