BELONIA, June 25 (TIWN): MHA Border Management Secretary Susheel Kumar, arrived in Tripura to inspect the border status Tripura and on Saturday he is visiting at South Tripura to check the status of Southern Indo-Bangla border.
Susheel Kumar presently has been appointed as the Secretary (Border Management), Ministry of Home Affairs and arrived in state Tripura on Friday afternoon.
South Tripura SP Bhanupada Chakraborty said that the MHA official has reached South via helicopter at 12.30.
Then he held meeting with the South DM Chandrakumar Jamatia regarding the border related issues and then the official also met the BSF Jawans at BSF camps.
It’ worthy to mention here that in Belonia and Sabroom, the unfenced borders have remained as threat to the safety for public.
The Ballamukha area is the most sensitive area at Belonia, continuously attacking by Bangladeshi robbers, smugglers and other kinds of miscreants.
To fence the border it’s necessary that the State and Central would jointly work to seal the border soon.
