OC alleged of restricting father from searching his kidnapped girl: Lodged complaint with PAC

KAMALPUR, June 19 (TIWN): A father lodged a complaint with the police for kidnapping of his college student girl by a Muslim youth. But the OC, allegedly, advised the father to be shut up of the matter. The deprived father lodged complaint with the Police Accountability Commission. The incident happened at Kachuchara Police station.

According to the information, the college student daughter of Arun kanti Debbarma of East Debicharra under the Kachuchara police station namely Jasmine (name changed) was abducted by one Parbesh Alam from 40 foot area of Halhali around 7 pm when she was returning home on 10 th June. Parbesh was the driver of the TATA Magic bearing number TR-04- 3362 and used to reside with his maternal uncle Badri Alam at 40 foot area.

However, as jasmine not returned home, her parents searched her at every possible place. On 11 th June, Arun got the information from her daughter that she was. kidnapped and on 12 th June she was taken to Patharkandi area in Assam.

Arun filed a complaint against Parbesh with a hope of rescuing his daughter. But, according to the allegation of Arun, OC Paluram Das of Kachuchara advised him to forget the matter of abduction as his daughter could not be rescued.

In this situation, the deprived father appealed to the Police Accountability Commission and also knocked the Home Secretary, DGP, SP, DM and the SDPO for early recovery of his daughter. Now, what steps would the police adopt remained the matter to be seen.
