AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Mamata Banerjee's tough talk in Darjeeling against the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) in 2013 had aroused anger among the seperatists. But as a leader her view was very clear which killed the whole seperatists attempt to divide State. Similiarly, Manik Sarkar led CPI-M Govt's view is clear about the separatist IPFT's intention of demanding separate 'Twipra Land' to flare up communal tensions among Bengali and Tribal communities across Tripura. Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT), which is known as a hardliner party and often blamed for its alleged soft stance on extremist movements is clearly trying to woo the tribal society after years of political isolation. Back in August 2015, hundreds of violent group of youths belonging to IPFT fisrupted public life with barbaric shouting, scaring people at capital of Tripura demanding a new state 'Twipra Land'.

CPI-M on Saturday organized a mass rally in Agartala protesting this communal party but State's all oppostiion parties Congress, Trinamool Congress, BJP  chosen to close their eyes in fear of losing Tribal vote banks. Even fashionable BJP President Biplab Deb or loud mouthed Sudip Barman keeping mum on this sensitive IPFT demand of separate 'Twipra Land' State.

Tripura TMC leaders like Sudip Barman till day didn’t make any comment regarding IPFT’s separate lands demand.

BJP, Congress is behaving as same as anti-nationalist and no concerns for Tripura's peace and inetrests.

Apart from CPI-M and Amara Bangali,  no political party dared to open mouth against this violent group of IPFT.

Against IPFT’s violent demand for a separate land the ruling party has organized a massive rally at Agartala on Saturday.

CPI-M via a press meet already put objection against the strike and following that press meet on Friday IPFT has again announce that they are determined to continue the strike.

On June 8 during IPFT’s press meet slamming the ruling Govt. party vice-president said that the Trible Welfare Dept.’s reports are different from ADC original reports, which is a major reason behind the lack of development of ADC areas.

He also added, “On 18th February, 2016 central govt. had allocated Rs. 175.95 crores for ADC development. That fund was ordered to utilize  in the development of ADC, but till day no fund has been transferred to ADC. Protesting all these IPFT is going for a massive protest and announced that all kinds of vehicle strikes including railway service will be stopped onJune 22.

As a part of counter attack, opposing IPFT’s  ‘Bandh’ CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar via a press meet on June 12 expressed CPI-M’s strong objection about IPFT’s strike on June 22 in demand of Twipra land.

IPFT planning to halt the railway and road-way service in Tripura in June 22.

Addressing the press meet on June 12, CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar said that CPI-M never will support IPFT’s demand for a separate land, but the opposition parties are playing a diplomatic role in this issue.

Opposition parties are silent instead of IPFT’s continuous demand for Twipra land, said Dhar.

He also mentioned whether CPI-M has clearly announced about party’s view against IPFT, now opposition parties would open their mouth and share what how think about the Twipra land—whether they support it or not---- it needs to be cleared.

It’s to be mentioned here that although IPFT took a break from their demand of Twipra land, but once again they have come up with their earlier demand for a separate land along with some more demands.

IPFT on June 8 held a press meet on where they announce that party is going to observe 24 hours strike on June 22 and to stop railway and national highway for 1 day in demand of Twipra land.

CPI-M state president held a press meet at Melarmath Party office and announced that no strike would observe in demand of Twipra land transport movement would not be disrupted on June 22.  And as a result IPFT again slammed the ruling party for giving objection against their strike.

Tripura opposition parties silence is shocking as they are saying nothing against IPFT which is making them stronger.

CPI-M in this regard doing the right job od protecting States peace and harmony, which TMC CM Mamata Banarjee has done kicking Gorkhaland after her becoming CM .
