KAMALPUR, June 18 (TIWN): The saga of dynamic administration remained a distant dream in the sub-divisions of the state. Though it seemed a bit uncanny in this era of much-hyped golden era’s dynamic administration, but the reality remained so.
And more ironically, the local party leaders and public representatives could not gather courage to protest against it as the protest might hamper the notion of the ‘exceptional and exemplary state’.
The allegation of poor work or no work at all became very common against the PWD(R&B) Kamalpur division for almost last one year. Many works remained half-done or undone. Many roads and bridges left in poor and deplorable condition and needed immediate renovation.
Even the judicial quarters were left in poor condition where the residents used to live in pathetic condition. Roads around the sub-divisional headquarter and other places used to pain the commuters. Still, the authority adopted the policy of ‘no tender-no work-no criticism’. And as a result, the officials started to enjoy a happy service life at their will. They join and leave the office at their own choice.
One such official of the Division, SDO B. Pal used to go to his office on Fridays. He used to return and to join his office on Tuesdays. In this way, he used to escape his office and duty for three days in a week.
Now, the dynamic administration remained reluctant about all these processing and commoners had to suffer. More mysteriously, the ruling party leaders who knew the plight of the office remained shut up. They probably got in the fear that, their efforts would bring forth the reality of the so-called dynamic administration.
