AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Tripura BJP State President Biplab Deb alleges that Tripura is undergoing CPI-M ‘Goondaraj’ as in last two weeks 3 chief leaders of BJP were attacked by few CPI-M cadres repeatedly.
On June 14, the state president of BJP was attacked on his home town at Dhajanagar area, Udaipur by CPI-M cadres. The attackers were wearing full halmets.
However, Tripura state BJP via a press meet on Tuesday told media that attack of CPI-M cadres are repeating again and again in state, as on June 11 when BJP leader Tapas Majumdar was coming from Ambassa was attacked by CPI-M cadres, but he managed to escape somehow.
On June 2 BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik was also attacked when he was at South Tripura along with other BJP supporters. They were massively attacked by CPI-M cadres on that day, when BJP was celebrating the 2 year’s of Modi Govt.’s governance at centre.
On that day, 7 families joined BJP from CPI-M at Amzadnagar, Hrishyamukh Indo-Bangla area. But suddenly, so many cadres in a planned way with sharp weapons had attacked upon Subal Bhowmik and to save Subal Bhowmik the BJP members were massively attacked by CPI-M cadres.
However, among the mentioned above 3 matters against 1 incident BJP could lodge FIR against 1. Bhanu Dhar, 2. Nabi Mia, 3. Chabbar Mia(a Govt. employee in Agriculture office at Belonia), but none of them are yet arrested.
