AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): With 3 charters of demands the members of the Tripura Liberation Organisation Force on Wednesdayheld press meet at press club.

Tripura Liberation Organisation Force has decided to gear up its rehabilitation movement.  Addressing the press meet they alleged that in spite of CM Manik Sarkar promise, the TLOF returnees are still deprived of proper rehabilitation; however, they demanded immediate rehabilitation.

They further demanded the withdrawal of cases of pending against the TOLF returnees of the state.

However they also demanded to take strict action against Achai KhasrangJamatia Regional Secretary GMP, Sarbung regional committee, Amarpur, Gomti, who is directly and relentlessly involved in illegal collection and extortion of money from 1148 number of non-extremist returnees under the board package scheme for pre 1998 AD extremist returnees.

The Tripura Liberation Organisation Front (TLOF) was formed in early 1992 by a breakaway faction of Tripura National Volunteers (TNV). It seeks to 'liberate' Tripura from 'Indian colonial exploitation' through armed struggle. The outfit suffered a major setback in June 1992 when 218 of its activists surrendered to the authorities.
