KAMALPUR, JUNE 13, (TIWN): In a giant move towards strengthening the hold of the party in the tribal dominated hamlets, BJP included almost 100 voters from Congress into their party. In that program, the former Pradhan of the North Kachuchara Panchayat Dipali Das and 50 more families joined BJP. BJP State Vice President Subal Bhowmik and State leader Tapas Majumder welcomed them into the party. Besides, the Ambassa Mondal President Gopal Sutradhar, District leader Paritosh Pal and Mondal leader Shankar Chakraborty was present.
The new comers stated BJP as the only alternative power in the state against the CPI-M. They asserted that, the TMC along with leaders like Sudip Barman who several times proved his failures could not usher any new ray of hope for the anti-lefts. On the contrary, the Congress lost all its credibility after its pre-poll alliance with CPI-M at West Bengal. Now, they joined BJP with a hope of a new beginning of movement and programs against the party-raj, corruption, exploitation and torture of CPI-M.
However, the BJP leadership made the entire proceedings hidden from the media. Even, when the leaders got contacted with they admitted the fact unwillingly and admitted that they thought it not so important to inform the media in this regard. However, TIWN collected the news and in the course it also got revealed that, a sort of under table nexus was also played to make the joining a huge one from the part of the some of the BJP leaders.
