AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): After the successful drive held in April 22 where 30th Assam Rifles btln and Karimgnaj police nabbed two chief Bru leaders named Arunjoy Reang & Dailoram Reang, on Sunday again police of Kathlicherra and 30th Assam Rifles Btln successfully caught another Bru terrorist named Shankar Barman, S/ O- Dhananjoy Barman, residence of Rankhal Punji Dist. Karimganj.
During the investigation police unearthed that--- this Bru terrorist named Shankar Barman sharing the membership of a major terrorist group based in Mizoram lead by Terrorist Chief L V Charki at Mizoram. On Saturday he kidnapped a local from North Tripura and following this incident police caught him from Gharmura (Near to Hailakanti, Assam).
FIR has been lodged against him with the case No: -KPC-PS CN/ 166/16/ dated-10th June 2016 under section 365/ 511/140/34 IPC.
This operation was done jointly by CRPF, 30th Assam rifles btln, and Tripura Police and reportedly Shankar Barman is to be produced before the court on Sunday.
After nabbing him the chief leader of the group has been identified by police as Rajesh Charki (Resident of Mizoram).
However, investigation going on to Unearth L V Charki Terrorist groups which has spread its wings in many parts of Northeast.
It’s to be mentioned here that around 60 Mizo-Tripura terrorist gang list names were exposed in April 22 after 2 Bru terrorists leaders nabbed by Tripura police and Assam Rifles.
But there is no hurry on behalf of Govt. to send back the Mizo refugees to their own state, which is increasing life-threats for the locals of Tripura. Bru refugees demands have left the matter unsolved here since 19 years.
However police already caught L V Charki’s(Leader of Bru refugee) right and left hand in April 22. Those 2 persons are the chief leaders of an emerging terrorist groups in North East India. Arunjoy Reang had been identified as the General Secretary of the Bru-terrorist Group, resident of Ashapara Kanchanpur Refugee camp and Dailoram Reang is recognized as the commandant of Katar, area at Dhali Dist. But the main leader is yet to reach out by police.
The refugee terrorist group leader has told the police that they do not any longer consider themselves as Indians as neither Mizo Govt. now Tripura Govt. is really concerned about their future.
Across North Tripura and Mizoram-Assam they have been settled as terrorist groups. Allegations are coming that Tripura-Mizo govt.’s disputes emerging terrorist groups in NE India.
