AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): A one-day-seminar was held on ‘Total Sanitation & Affordable Housing’ at Sukanta Academy on Saturday.

PWD Minister Badal Choudhury and Tourism Minister Ratan Bhowmik remained present during the programme.

PWD Minister Badal Choudhury inaugurated the programme and Tourism Ratan Bhowmik released Souvenir.

The welcome address was delivered by Er. S K Nandi, Secretary, IBC, Tripura Centre and the presentation on IAY home buildings were screened by Er. Sumit Kumar Majumdar (under RD Dept.. His presentation was based on ‘Affordable Housing’.

Er. Chandan Sengupta Chairman Task Force Sanitization, West Bengal held a thoughtful presentation on ‘Total Sanitization’.

During the conference on ‘Total Sanitation & Affordable Housing’, Expert-Engineers shared their views about how to build up Tripura’s economy by using modern technology which will much more affordable for the Govt. here and what is the importance of Total Sanitization to control pollution.
