AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): 'Yes Bank' Senior president Tushar Pandey during delivering his speech in a business meet at Pragna Bhawan said, ‘Tripura Govt. should follow Modi Govt's Make-in-India project and to convert the State into an IT hub’.
Tele-communication has been very much important for any state’s development and thus Tripura must recognize the importance of Telecommunication too.
‘Tripura although a small state, but it has enough men-power which can be used to develop the state into an IT hub’, said Pandey.
However, giving example for why Tripura is lagging behind he picked up the issue of ‘Tourism’ and said, Tripura Govt. would develop tourism as it has enough sites to visit.
But due to lack of proper infrastructure Tripura has remained in dark always in the sector of Tourism.
Tripura has high literacy rate and degree colleges, and it’s very easy to generate employment, said Pandey.
It is to be mentioned here that Tripura Infoway already conducted a IT Conclave in 2015 by inviting global CTOs, CEOs like Hinduja Group's V. Subramanyam and USA,UK, Taiwan Govt representatives but Tripura's CPI-M Govt never even offered a cup of tea to these eminent personalities for setting up IT Hub in Tripura.
News links from 2015 IT Conclave : As a private small organization, Tripura Infoway organized much better IT/Industry conclave than Govt of Tripura where focus was on Tripura's development.
Needless to say, Manik Sarkar will never like Tripura Infoway or YES Bank Senior President Tushar Pandey's advise on converting Tripura as IT Hub.
