AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Secretary Y P Singh while delivering his speech at Pragna Bhawan on Saturday during a business meet held between Tripura Govt.---Bangladesh Govt. and other Investor groups, asked the Industrial Minister of Bangladesh Alhaz Amir Hossain to function fully the internet service which was promised to give to Tripura on 23rd March.

Chief Secretary Y.P.Singh also mentioned, with internet’s proper connectivity,  is much necessary to develop a state.

However, Y P Signh also mentioned that Tripura’s industrial development has been slow in reality although it has enough potentiality.

Lack of connectivity has been the prime reason behind it.

At the end he thanked all the investors and requested, “Please invest for Tripura”.

The 1 day programme was organized by ASSOCHAM,  Group of Industries, Govt. of India, Tripura Govt at Pragna Bhawan on Saturday.
