AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): TBSE Madhyamik results brought shame on CPI-M ruled Tripura's education system as TBSE Board President Mihir Deb couldn't hide his frustration on massive failure of 34% candidates in TBSE Madhyamik examination. Mihir Deb while talking to TIWN on Thursday said, "I am extremely unhappy with result, question doesn't arise for happiness when 34 % students failed under a State Board" Just after the publication of TBSE result for Madhyamik 2016, TBSE President Mihir Deb expressed utter displeasure on poor results Statewide. Even though TBSE Board President was careful not to annoy his CPI-M bosses in Melarmath and CM Manik Sarkar, but it is quite evident how cadre-raj can destroy a State’s education system. Tripura’s education system deteriorated beyond repair as every school, teachers are forced to turn as CPI-M cadres to fill up CPI-M rallies statewide. Ruling CPI-M govt. shamelessly claim for highes literacy rate in state, but in realty such poor results depicts the poor quality of Education in Tripura.CPI-M’s wrong policies, cadres, SFI dominated school environments have destroyed education system which resulted poor teachings in schools, party politics spoiled education scenario.

Modi led union govt. is asking states again and again to improve the quality of Education, but Tripura’s education standard is going down day after day.

Illegal private tuition business, CPI-M cadre based teacher recruitemnt,  CPI-M’s wishful book writers  have spoiled the essence of quality Education during the rule of CPI-M since 22 years.

Manik Sarkar keeps on blaming the Central Govt.(BJP) for violating the education system with RSS doctrines but under his regime Tripura’s Education system has been destroyed due to the political poisoning pushed inside the school environments.

Lack of teachers in rural Tripura and private tuition business in town areas are also responsible for such a shameful result of 34% failures.

When TIWN asked TBSE President Mihir Deb on Thursday that whether he is happy with the result he said ‘Question doesn’t arise for happiness, when 34 % students are failed in Madhyamik exam. This was highly unexpected’.

It’s worthy to mention that TBSE has announced Madhyamik result with 66.14 % passing percentage, which has given a shock to the Tripura Board.

The passing percentage has once more reduced with 66.14 %.

In the last year whereas the passing percentage was 66.41 % this time it has been downed more with 66.14 %.

However, the passing percentage is high at South Tripura District with 75.77 %. , followed by Gomati Dist. ranked 2nd in passing percentage with 74.63 %.

Among all the students 2465 students have been passed in first division, whereas 3788 students have been passed in 2nd division and 15,403 students in 3rd division.

The Madhyamik Examination 2016 results has once again brought into limelight the falling “educational standards” in Tripura.

The results, declared by Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Thursday morning, shown the overall pass percentage very poor (66.14 percent).

However, a total of 49089 students from varios schools of the state appeared in the examination. Overall trend of education is very disappointing across the State.

Going by the pathetic educational trends in Tripura, one can foresee the actual goal of Manik Sarkar led CPI-M, which is generating more unemployed youths in Tripura so that CPI-M party can get steady supply of cadres at nominal price.
