AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) is following all other standard boards’ system, even in the evolution process, mark sheet making and grading system.
But state Govt. after all these has miserably failed to abolish the tradition of private tutor and hiring Govt. teachers by guardians has remained on the peak. The Madhyamik topper in Tripura under TBSE was under 18 private tutors, around the year.
This has two reasons however—one is the poor quality of Education system in Govt. schools and another is the poor salary provided to the state govt. teachers here.
But both of the two reasons mentioned above are interrelated with each-other. Or can be said there is a single cause behind the available private tutors in Tripura.
The main reason is ofcourse, the less amount of salary provided to the teachers, due to that teachers here never focus only to class lectures or to upgrade their teaching skills.
In many states, where teachers are paid luxurious salaries, they are dedicated to teaching more than school hours, but in Tripura a teacher who is unable to manage his/her family with Manik Govt.’s poor pay-scale, they can’t think much more to dedicate for school upgradation, as Tripura Govt.’s poor salary can not give them a better life.
So in anyway people are engaged to earn ‘Extra’ .
State Govt. who is planning to run school 9-5 daily, would face more trouble time in Education system, as more frustrated teachers would come out on that time.
So in either way both employees and unemployed are spending the ‘Age of Frustration’, in this so called ‘Golden Era’.
